The Commemorative Canadian Silver Dollar Series consists of designs by famous artists and other creative Canadians. Each design features a Canadian historical event or tradition: a great way to re-live Canadian history, struck on metal art that will last for eternity. 1935 to 1967 commemorative silver dollars come in circulated or uncirculated condition. 1971 through 1997 coins are specially struck proof-like silver dollars, double-struck by the Royal Canadian Mint with polished dies. This gives each coin a superb finish so you can enjoy the perfect images. Beginning in 1981, they also exhibit cameo highlights.
