Local adoptions

If you live reasonably close to the shelter, the best is of couse if you can come for a visit so that we can get to know each other, and so that you can see the dogs yourself. For local adoptions we ask for a participation of 5000 pts to cover some basic costs. This money helps feed the other dogs remining in the shelter.

International adoptions

The most expensive part is mostly the transportation. We have tried, but so far we have been able to do little about the cargo fees of the airlines. We ask you to cover the costs of vaccinations, spay/neutering and transportation. We don't ask for an additional participation in this case (but it is of course welcome and well needed if you want to give one anyway).

Needed information about you

Please provide the following information in the e-mail (or have it ready when you call):

• Name


• Contact information: e-mail address, telephone number, street address


• The country and region where you will live with the dog


• Family information: Do you live in a family or alone? Do you have small children? Other dogs? Other animals?


• Preferences regarding the dog (if you have any): Big/small/medium size? Male/female? Looks? A specific dog?
