Where can I download speedcams locations and how the hell do I install'em into my TomTom?

New year, new life, typical Spanish proverb. That’s why Robser’s version numbering changes, so you can easily see which one is the newest. It’s quite simple. Now it is yearmonthday. The longest the time ago from current date, the bigger the risk to be outdated..

Here, you have a dummies guide for how to download an install in TomTom: Spanish speedcams POI's, its icons, warning voices (only spanish); as well as to program that they warn to you, and to capture the new radars to collaborate to improve the compilation.

So that, you should download, by sequence:

1.- OV2 files

Download here last update of Robser's speedcam POI's

Containing the radar locations, categorized by type and speed. Just in case you are a Radar detector user, there’s a special version named COPI, including just Autovelox and LIDAR locations to put into your Tomtom as a complemet to your RoadPilot, in order to be even more covered. You can download COPI version here

2.- Warning voices (only Spanish)

Just in case you’ve got TomTom version 6 or newer for PDA, there’s now an easy way to assign warning voices for radars, identifying the type of warning as well as speed limit. For that, download here the voices file. Uncompress it, choose male or female voice and store .OGG files in the same directory as .BMP and .OV2 ones, within the Iberian map folder. Then, re-program warnings so they do work. IPR voices, courtesy of “La Radio BBS”, when you can get more voices (male and female).

3.- Icons file

Only needed first time Radar POIs are installed. Choice from 137 sets. Thanks to OX, Maciasp, Jcferrera, Yosoypepo, Lobombero, Nash, Jdeburgos, Maab, scanner, macpac, p3panton, Fafi_t & Tonizzuco for their work, a wide variety. Enter the icons gallery by clicking here.
