3.VINDICATRIX

This 4 masted hulk on the Sharpness Canal was used as a training ship for the National Sea Training School. Between September 1939 and December 1966 over 70,000 budding seamen and catering staff were trained on this vessel.      I was at the Sea Training School from 30th.October 1950 until 3rd.December 1950 before I joined the Merchant Service. 'VINDICATRIX' was built in Glasgow as the 'ARRANMORE'.
