4.S.S.DEARNE      Associated Humber Line  1200 Tons G.R.T.

I joined in December 1950. I was now 16 years old. The 'DEARNE' was a refrigerated ship. Out from Goole to Copenhagen and back to Goole with Carlsberg Lager, bacon and butter.  Regular run - home every two weeks. 4 months later I moved on.
