The heard
of the system is the IOCARDS.Paying atention to the space and funcionality,
I decided to do the main structure in a "L" form. Then, it was the way to
put the Woofer over the cover of the circuits, and a monitor on each side.
The material used is Hard Plywood, and the components (switches, displays,
etc.), are on board of a standard circuit board drilled in a 0,1"
pitch. After buying the components I did drawings with Autocad, putting
everything in place according the measurements of each component. For the
Decals I did a Layer with the Autocad having all the labels together,
printed in a self-adhesive transparent film with my home Ink Jet Printer.
For de Display Filters I bought a red plastic cheap folder. I took lots of
ideas from Carlos Lopez Web
http://www.micabinadevuelo.com
where you can find impressive tutorials,
who uses the balcony of his apartment
as a workshop!!!. For the wiring I put plugs in order to do easy afterwards
changes. It is without backlighting because the optic results that I have
seen are not so good, and the plexi-baker is not an affordable material for
the DIY´s. |
