INTRODUCTION

Sim Enthusiast since 20 years, I began with the Sublogic ATP Sim. Probably some of you will still remember how much we should had to imagine watching such screens. After that, with the FS95 and 98, with the flights controlled by the Net, it was as a jump.
But, more over, the big change was when I found surfing in Internet, the Spanish Group of Cockpit Builders   http://groups.yahoo.com/group/construccion_cabinas/    where I was able to find a magnificent atmosphere, where all the members are participating and helping one to the other, without any single commercial interest. This fact has motivated me to build this pages.
From all the members, I have to emphasize the great figure of Manuel Velez, designer of all the hardware and software interfacing with the flight sim, called as IOCARDS. More details are available in his page:    http://www.opencockpits.com/      with lots of informations and documentation about circuits and programs, being everything completely FREE!!!!

CHARACTERISTICS OF MY SIM:

BOEING 300 / 700 SIMULATOR

The cockpit is based in the fact that the PC equipment is not dedicated exclusively to the simulation tasks for floor space and economy reasons

By now, 1 single PC, PIV running at 2,8MHz,  Ram size 512Mb, Graphic board GeForce TI4200 and  a Joystick, or better the remaining of it, Saitek X-35,  CH USB  Pedals and a 21 " plus 14" Screens.

And runs very smooth!!!

All the components are self made because it is a hight satisfaction and it saves some money.  For example, a stock Pedestal is about 2.500 €: the mine one is around 60€+Joy Stick
