What to do
On non flyable days you have a variety of things to do. That's why Alicante is the best family destination for a paragliding pilot
Because there are so many things you can do down here. And you are hardly ever stuck with rain in our region. It is known all over for its very dry climate. You will be outdoors, even when it is not flyable. Kids, non pilots, family members will not be bored. And if they are, well , read the following ...Beaches
The nearer to summer the busier it gets on the beaches. Near the appartments you can find white sandy beaches, packed with tourists near the urbanisations, or long stretches of sandy beaches where you can sunbathe on your own, your choice. Worth a trip is Playa de Pinet, down south ca. 15 km. direction Santa Pola, and immediately after the salt lakes take Playa del Pinet. To have an idea how it looked like in the old days.
Outdoor activities
A lot of guests love the outdoor Go-cart track in Finestrat. Near Benidorm. Benidorm is our busiest tourist resort in Spain. In summer packed with noisy tourists, in winter a lot more mellow. You can have a drink on the terraces, enjoy the beach, the views or have a meal.
You can enjoy kitesurfing on Playa Lisa, Santa Pola. You can have a go on a three hour beginners course for only 45 euros (4 persons mimum and you need to make reservations through us). You will be taught how to handle the sail and with some luck they will take you in the water to try it out. It all depends on your skills.
Catamaran sailing from Alicante. 4 hours of fun, music, drinks and food. The boat is called the Magic and takes you on a sailing trip on the mediterranean. Capacity 25 persons.
On warmer days, you should have a go on the waterparks. Or visit the theme park Terra Mitica also in Benidorm. (closed from november until april)
More adventure activities you can do with Marco Polo in Benidorm. Jeep safaris, quads, sailing, diving, climbing, you name it on www.marcopolo-exp.es
