How to play  

Number of players can vary from 2 to 9. They can play both individually and in teams.

Questions

There are 100 statements, positive or negative, about different questions and problems the Earth is facing to. You should give reason for (green card), against (red card) or in between (yellow card) according to the card shown on the screen in your play turn. When a white card is shown, discussion starts and every player can take part and give their own opinion with the aim of getting an agreement. Then, they can change their first opinions.

Opinion Cards

Red Card: you are against the statement (regardless of your own opinion)

Green Card: you are for the statement (regardless of your own opinion)

Yellow Card: you are in between the opinions, understanding both point of views, defenders and opponents. This card can also be used by the Captain entendiendo los dos puntos de vista, defensores y oponentes. Esta carta también puede se empleada por el Capitán who can be named to moderate the discussion.

White Card: players starts a discussion and they can change their first opinions.

How to play

1º) Set the three values on the right side of the screen:

• Question theme

• Number of players. Each player or team has a number to play, starting from 1.

• Number od cards: 2 cards (green & red) o 3 cards (green, red and yellow).

2º) Click the "New question" button.

3º) Player or team 1 starts to play. They have to give reasons about the question according to the displayed card (green, red or yellow), regardless of their own opinion.

4º) After the first player, click the "Next one" button to take part the player 2. Then, rest of the player will go on playing in the same way until all the players have played.

5º) Finally, white card will be displayed. Then, all participants discuss and negotiate aiming to form a compromise or solution that would take into consideration as many interests as possible. In the discussion, it should be remembered that the goal for all the players is to reach a compromise – nobody can “win” the debate by vigorously defending their opinion (given by the opinion card). If the discussion leads to an astray and the compromise seems too difficult to reach, the holders of the yellow card can take on the role of a Captain and mediate the negotiation between opinions. 

6º) The compromise or solution is written down briefly.

You can play as many rounds as you want with the same players or teams.
