On march, 2000, was published the book Llegendes
de ponts, dòlmens i menhirs a Catalunya, written by Albert Fàbrega
and edited by El Farell Edicions. On december, 2000 was printed
its second edition. With the aid of dolmens and menhirs, and the devil's bridges, we can collect many thinkings, legends and myths that for a long time had been living in Catalonia. Some devil's bridges relate in its legends the devil and the megaliths. Some dolmens are considered the work of giants. The Torrents Virgin, a found Mother of God, was found in a dolmen. There are menhirs that allow us to remember ancestral fertility cults. Others are bond to the fields harvest or to petrified people. |
