On june, 2000 has been published the Guia excursionista de L'Albera, written by a team of authors and printed by Albera viva.

"Ship mountain" or "Peculiar peninsula", this two images for naming l'Albera show strongly one of the essential characters of this mountains: its marine reallity... It's through the sea that the first neolithic shepherds reached this land, and later came the grecs and romans...

It's the first published excursionist guide that gives routes in both sides of the borderline with many amazing itineraries. In the most megalithic land in Catalonia, would be impossible to find a route that doesn't visit a dolmen or menhir. So practically all the routes in this guide pass through one or more megaliths, always well maintained and indicated.
