It would not be strange that they have made the approach to the farms to make contact with the humans in the Scandinavian Peninsula many years ago.

When we go for a walk with Tsunami by the forest we felt that we are giving back to him just a little bit of which he introduces in our home. The image of a Norwegian Forest Cat in the wild (although it is per moments) is very impressive. We like to dedicate very much attention to our litters and to participate in the process of socialization of the kittens. In this period they coexist with us and they are accustomed to all the surroundings, situations and noises of a house and to the coexistence with Pepón, our dog. |
It is very important to remember that the Norwegian Forest Cat is a natural breed, created by the Mother Nature. It is impossible to maintain a natural breed in captivity and domesticated and to pretend that it will not evolve and change respect to which it was in freedom. For that reason the breeders must work and do the maximum efforts to preserve the standard of this great cat.
